Juried Show Conference 2011

The Land of Varied Perspectives Conference 2011 held at SAIT in Calgary from June 10-12 is now a wonderful memory. The hosts, Heritage Weavers of Calgalry, outdid themselves.

The venue was in the oldest building on the SAIT campus and it contained all of the conference events along one lovely hall.

The dining/registration/banquet area was in the middle and the workshops will held at one end of the hall and the Juried Show and vendors booths were at the other end. The 4-5 series of vendor rooms tempted us delightfully and the location made the vendor area appear like a series of small, magical, exotic (of course!) boutiques!

The Juried Show was inspiring and got everyone excited about the creativity shown. Everyone went home with ideas bubbling and definitely promising themselves to come to the conference in 2012!
